Faculty Inclusive Excellence Committee

Chaired by Dr. Omar Rivera, Associate Dean for Faculty Inclusive Excellence, College of Arts and Sciences. The charge of the committee is to promote the value of diversity and its tasks include:

• Manage FIE Awards for the College of Arts and Sciences
• Track and assess Departmental FIE efforts and submit an annual report to the Office for Diversity
• Award grants to departments pursuing FIE initiatives.
• Award grants that would support faculty obtain external funding for projects that enhance FIE within the college and in the community, including HSI funding.
• Support efforts to recruit, hire, mentor and retain diverse faculty, including programs such as the ACES Fellows Program
