The Ph.D. of Atmospheric Sciences will prepare you for careers in the public, military or private domain. You will gain an understanding of theories, concepts, processes and principles of the atmospheric sciences (meteorology, climatology, atmospheric chemistry, atmospheric modeling, etc.).

You will master analytical, scientific, graphical, imaging and software tools that can be used to solve research, development and operational problems. You will also develop the skills required to research the scientific literature on the latest results of physical sciences.

The research-based part of the training will prepare you to lead the:

  • Development of computer codes
  • Design of laboratory and field experiments
  • Analysis of data from measurements and modeling
