Enhance your degree with a minor in biology. Through this minor, you will gain a base of knowledge that includes various sub-disciplines in the field of biology.
A minor in biology should represent coursework taken in the discipline beyond courses that might be used to satisfy core curriculum science requirements (8 credits). Therefore, though BIOL 111 and BIOL 112 are prerequisites to all courses in this minor, they are not considered part of the minor program. Some coursework will require organic chemistry.
Students majoring in biomedical science or pursuing any degree from the Department of Biology are not eligible to pursue this minor.
