This edition captures a department in motion — from the ribbon-cutting on Heldenfels Hall's newly renovated fourth floor and approved plans for the Biology Teaching and Research Building, to faculty research at the forefront of coral resilience, circadian biology, and immune metabolism. The issue also celebrates a record year of student and faculty recognition, the inaugural year of the CURES undergraduate research program, and a farewell reflection from longtime faculty member Tom McKnight.
