Video production for the web is an integral part of news writing in our program. You'll also have the opportunity for specialized, advanced writing classes in:
- Political reporting
- Literary nonfiction
- Sports reporting
- Arts and entertainment journalism
- Magazine writing
- Multimedia journalism
You'll also be required to complete a journalism internship. This will give you more writing and production experience, and give your resume a boost. You can also obtain in-depth experience in the field of new media.
