Dr. Wesner is known for the enthusiasm she brings to her classroom and the encouragement she provides to her students. She focuses on real-world applications of the topics in her courses to help prepare students for their future careers. 

Biography

Kylene Wesner started her time in the Department of Communication & Journalism as a doctoral student in the fall of 2007. After finishing her degree in 2014, she joined the faculty as a Lecturer and has worked in various capacities for the department over the years. She has taught courses ranging from Public Speaking to Research Methods Communication Tactics to Communication Data Applications. She loves helping students connect the concepts they’re learning in class to their current lives and future careers.
