Registration link for AP Institutes 2026
We do not process PO's. After registering, be sure to pay through A&M Marketplace.
If your district does not use credit cards, you can pay by check. Please email us so that know you are sending a check and will save your spot for a short time to allow the check to arrive. If you need a P.O., one can be used internally in the district, and the registration confirmation will serve as an invoice. Send the check to:

AP Institutes include material appropriate for the 12 hours of GT training related to curriculum and instruction (see code), and the training satisfies the 6-hour GT update required for Texas teachers, subject to individual school districts decisions.
The registration fee for the AP Institutes for 2026 is $625. The fee includes all materials used throughout the week, breakfast pastries, refreshments during breaks, and a light lunch each of the four days. The institutes will start promptly at 8:00 A.M. each morning and end at 4:30 P.M. each of the four days.
Pre-Registration for the AP institutes is required, and may be accomplished online. Pre-Registration deadline is June 10 in order to receive a hard copy of College Board materials. Registrations after June 10 will receive an electronic copy.
Housing
Housing for the workshops is offered at the Drury Inn Plaza, 705 University Drive East. for $480 for four nights, Sunday through Wednesday night. You will check out Thursday morning before going to the institute. If you choose the housing option when you register, do not make your own reservations. You will pay for it when you pay your institute fee. If you are traveling from a long distance and need to stay through Thursday night, be sure to choose that option when you pay and reach out to make sure we know (email contact below). If you register after June 15, be sure to contact us to ensure there is still a housing option available in case it fills up.
See the hotel website for details. Currently amenities include free breakfast, free parking free WiFi, indoor pool, and fitness center. There are several restaurants and fast food places within easy walking distance.
If you do not choose the housing option, you are responsible for your own reservations. Off-Campus Housing is available at many motels/hotels located near the campus.
If you are traveling from a long distance and need to stay through Thursday night, you need to let us know when you register (email contact below). Pastries, coffee, and juice are available each morning in Blocker.
Off-Campus Housing is available at several motels/hotels located near the campus.
- Vineyard Court Executive Suites (888) 846-2678 is one block south and one block east of the main campus.
- Hampton Inn (800) 426-7866 is two blocks north of campus on the west side of Texas Avenue.
- LaQuinta Inn (800) 531-5900 is one block south of TAMU.
There are many more options. If you decide to use off-campus accommodations, you will need to make your own reservations.
Parking
Parking is available in the Northside Parking Garage, which is next to the Blocker Building maps where the workshop will be held, for an hourly rate, which comes to about $15 per day. You do not need a parking pass; simply pay in the machine each day you choose to park there. Be sure you pay enough for the whole day. If you go over at all, you may receive a ticket.
The West Campus parking garage is located across Wellborn Road from the football stadium, and is about 1 mile from the Blocker Building, where the institutes will be held. You may use the campus bus service at no charge.
The city of College Station has a parking garage located at 309 College Main Street, which is approximately 6 blocks from Blocker, and may be somewhat cheaper.
Shuttle bus service will be available between the Southside area and the Blocker Building and between the West Campus Garage and the Blocker building. Check Transportation for specific times and location of stops.
Evening Meals
Evening meals are NOT included in the workshop cost. Participants are expected to provide their own evening meals.
