The Fall 2026 Force Request Form will be posted here on August 12, 2026.
Force Request Guidelines
Forces are intended for:
- Students who would like to take a course but do not currently have it on their schedule AND all seats in all sections of the course are taken.
- Graduating seniors who need a course to graduate.
Forces are not intended for:
- Students who are already enrolled in a section and wish to change sections based on instructor preference or schedule convenience.
- Students requesting a force into a course section when seats are available in other sections of the same course.
If a student is currently enrolled in a section and requests a change or requests a force when other sections have available seats, the request will be denied. The student will be instructed to provide documentation of an extenuating circumstance that requires them to take the course at a specific time. At that point, the situation will be reviewed.
