Trophies, ribbons, and Maple or MATLAB subscriptions are awarded to individual winners of the Subject Area and Best Student examinations. The number of prizes is dictated by attendance.

Special awards are given to teams which merit distinction on the Power Questions, and to the top two winners of the Buzz contest.

Sweepstakes awards are awarded to the six top schools on the basis of the individual awards won in the Subject Area and Best Student events and the team effort on the Power Question.

In addition, the top student in each divisions of the Best Student event will receive a TI Nspire calculator, and the top two students in the Open division of the Best Student event will each receive a $2,000 scholarship to study mathematics at Texas A&M University.
