Biography
I have a B.S. in Anthropological Sciences with a minor in Zoology from THE Ohio State University. I graduated with research distinction with a senior thesis on Old World monkey dental development. Most of my experience was with captive primates and museum specimens until my Masters in Conservation Medicine at the Cummings Veterinary School at Tufts University. There, I completed an internship at Centre ValBio in Ranomafana National Park in Madagascar. I conducted a brief pilot study on Propithecus edwardsi feeding behavior and attended a health team expedition. I presented this research as a poster at the IPS conference in 2025. My main interest is in One Health, specifically disease presence in non-human primates and transmission risk between humans and non-human primates.
