Biography

Kathleen graduated from Saint Mary’s College with a Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences, with a concentration in Ecological, Evolutionary, and Environmental Biology. She has spent the last two summers with the University of Notre Dame Environmental Research Center, and previously has interned with the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo. As an undergraduate, Kathleen researched how industrialization impacts roost sizes of Chimney Swifts, and she presented this research at the AFO, SCO-SOC, WOS joint meeting in August 2024. Her primarily research interests are in animal behavior, specifically examining how disturbance affects primate behavior.
