Kristen Crouse

I received my bachelor’s of science from TAMU in 2022 after finding anthropology and realizing it was something I wanted to spend more time in. Dr. Kennedy was a mentor in undergrad leading into my application for grad school in the Nautical program. My interests are finding new ways to conserve newer metals and the steamboat “Yellowstone” specifically during her time in Texas and the Texas Revolutionary War. I am the AAGS Nautical Subfield Representative and last summer started working on the Philadelphia Gunboat Research Initiative.
