Olivia Brill (Close)

Olivia earned her BA in Classics and History from the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas. Her master’s thesis examines the nautical imagery in the Byzantine Illuminated Manuscript Skylitzes Matritensis. While working towards her masters and PhD at Texas A&M, Olivia is also pursuing the Conservation and Historic Preservation certifications. Her research interests include maritime iconography, Classical and Medieval seafaring, and the museum collections and conservation.
