Faculty Achievements

We are celebrating some major achievements and milestones reached by seven of our esteemed faculty. Effective September 1, 2025:

• Justin Moscarello will be tenured and promoted to an Associate Professor
• Yumiko Mochinushi will be promoted to an Instructional Associate Professor
• Sherecce Fields will receive the Susanne M. and Melbern G. Glasscock '59 Endowed Professorship I
• Jyotsna Vaid will receive the Samuel Rhea Gammon Endowed Professorship in Liberal Arts
• Zina Trost will receive the Ray A. Rothrock '77 Faculty Research Fellowship
• Jessica Bernard will receive a Chancellor's EDGES Fellowship
• Brian Anderson will receive a Chancellor's EDGES Fellowship

Our faculty consistently achieve, expand, and excel in their respective areas to the point of it being no great surprise when they are heartily recognized for their efforts. Never the less, we in the Psychological and Brain Sciences department cannot help but gleam with pride at these individual accomplishments as well as the strong department community that fosters the environment that supports so many achievements.
