Texas A&M is a very large campus that can, at times, feel overwhelming. Rest assured there is a wealth of resources ready and willing to help you when in need. The Department of Economics also has resources available at your disposal.
If you are going through something, be sure to reach out to the Undergraduate Academic Advising Team or Graduate Advising Team, depending on your classification. We can point you in the right direction, but we can't help if we don't know.

Health & Student Support
University Health Services
University Health Services (UHS)—comprehensive health care to support the physical well-being of students. Services include medical appointments, immunizations, lab testing, women’s health, and more. UHS also offers health education programs and wellness outreach.
Mental Health Services
Mental Health Services—supports Aggie mental health needs by helping Texas A&M students meet their academic goals within the context of service eligibility, student obligations and University Health Services resources, offering a variety of counseling and mental health care appointments. The TELUS Health Student Support app provides free, immediate 24/7 mental health support for students. TELUS offers an extensive on-demand content library covering topics ranging from healthy lifestyles to anxiety and depression.
Student Assistance Services
Student Assistance Services (SAS)—assists in navigating personal and academic challenges that may impact their success. This includes support for extended absences, medical or mental health concerns, family emergencies, financial hardship, and other complex situations that may require university intervention or coordination. Disability Resources
Disability Resources—ensures equal access to education for students with documented disabilities by coordinating academic accommodations, advocating for accessible environments, and promoting inclusion through faculty and campus engagement.
International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS)
Texas A&M University International Student & Scholar Services supports international students, scholars, and their families as they navigate the U.S. immigration system and life in the U.S. We educate on policies and regulations and provide programs to enhance the Texas A&M international community experience. Office of Graduate and Professional School (OGAPS)
The Graduate and Professional School supports Aggies pursuing graduate degrees by offering comprehensive resources and guidance from admission to graduation. Our team assists with degree planning, thesis and dissertation review, professional development, and more. They also host events and collaborate with campus units to foster a strong graduate community and advocate for graduate education at Texas A&M and beyond.

Academic Calendar
The Academic Calendar is the official calendar of Texas A&M with all class start and end dates, student/faculty/staff holidays and final exam dates. Every important event and deadline you need to know is on the Academic Calendar.
Academic Success Center
Academic Success Center (ASC)—provides a wide range of services designed to help students develop effective learning strategies and succeed in their coursework. Offerings include tutoring, academic coaching, Supplemental Instruction (SI), study workshops, and time management support.
Math Learning Center
Math Learning Center (MLC)—free, drop-in math tutoring to undergraduate students enrolled in supported math courses. Tutors are trained to assist with understanding concepts, solving problems, and preparing for exams in a collaborative learning environment.
Economics Tutoring Lab
ECON Tutoring Lab—tutoring support for students enrolled in economics and econometrics courses. The lab is staffed by peer tutors at the master's or PhD level who can help clarify course content and support students in mastering economic concepts and assignments. There is also a subdivision of the lab just for ECON 202!
University Writing Center
The University Writing Center supports writing and public speaking for every Texas A&M student, with particular emphasis on supporting Writing and Communication courses. To help graduate and undergraduate students practice the habits of mature composers of written and oral communication.

The 12th Can—student-run food pantry that provides free groceries to currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff.
Campus Dining Services
Campus Dining Services—offers flexible meal plans and convenient dining locations across campus. Special dietary accommodations and nutrition consultations are also available to help students maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle.Pocket Pantries
Pocket Pantries—with several locations across campus, Pocket Pantries are stocked with non-perishable food, snacks, and hygiene products. These spaces are available to students for quick, discreet access to essential items.
Rev's Reserve: Pocket Pantry & Closet
Rev's Reserve, a Pocket Pantry and Pocket Closet located in the Economics Advising suite (WCSS 103) that provides non-perishable food, hygiene supplies, school supplies, and gently used professional clothing for students in need. It is free to use for all Texas A&M students. See an advisor or email econadvising@tamu.edu for additional info and help accessing the closet and full pantry!
