Economics is the study of how and why people make choices about allocating resources. Students in economics learn to use the principles of mathematics, statistics, and human behavior to understand everyday problems from how much pizza to buy for your tailgate to changes in national and international commerce.

If you are interested in:

  • How the economy works and how individuals make choices in it
  • How people react to changes in the availability of products, services, and inflation
  • Analyzing relevant data to help understand how to most effectively improve economic well-being and increase utility

Then ECON is for you!
