Biography
Dr. Cecchini teaches courses in Italian language and culture, Italian and global cinema. Her educational activities involve collaborations between the Italian program at Texas A&M and the Italian program of the University of Houston and UT Austin, the Italian Cultural & Community Center and the Consulate General of Italy in Houston. Dr. Cecchini’s academic interests include teaching pedagogy, women’s studies and autobiography, adaptation, and media studies. She published on Sibilla Aleramo, Veronica Franco, Isabella Morra, Marco Bellocchio, Marco Tullio Giordana, Gianfranco Rosi, and others.
