Texas A&M History’s Dr. Sarah McNamara has been recognized with the Sara A. Whaley Book Prize for her monograph on women and labor.

Graduate students in the History Department at Texas A&M travel the world to do their research. One strength of our program is the generous funding that graduate students receive to travel to archives, to present papers at conferences, to learn foreign languages, and to attend seminars that advance their professional development.
