HOWDY and Welcome!
If you are a new Aggie and will be starting Texas A&M in the upcoming semester, please visit the NEW AGGIE website. The New Student & Family Programs is here to to support your success as a new student, from the time of your admission through your first year at Texas A&M.
For our new incoming first-year and transfer students: please be sure to schedule your New Student Conference (NSC) as soon as you’re able. The second day of your conference will primarily be spent with us in PBSI advising to familiarize you with our academic requirements, the program and department, and to aid you with your first-semester registration. Please do not schedule an advising meeting with us prior to your NSC, as academic advising will be a part of your NSC experience.

Freshman admits applying to Texas A&M as “first time in college” are reviewed by Admissions and the decision is made there. The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences has no role in that process. Please contact Juan Lopez at jlopez@tamu.edu with any questions about the department or the College of Arts and Sciences.
