Research Interests
Dr. Han has been teaching General Chemistry since 2020 and currently instructs CHEM 318: Quantitative Analysis Lab and CHEM 120: Honors and Majors Chemistry Lab. His teaching philosophy centers on assisting students build a strong foundation in chemistry. With experience in both academia and industry, Dr. Han is well-positioned to mentor students and guide them in exploring diverse career paths in science.
His research focuses on the application of Raman spectroscopy for the development of rapid, cost-effective, user-friendly, and highly accurate biosensors. These devices are designed for point-of-care diagnostics, with the aim of improving accessibility and efficiency in clinical and environmental monitoring.
