Biography

Larry May completed his undergraduate and graduate work at Texas A&M and is a life-long Aggie. He completed his Ph.D. in 2015 under Dr. Sherry Yennello and worked on isospin equilibration in Fermi energy heavy-ion nuclear collisions. He is dedicated to teaching and sharing his passion of math and science with undergraduate students to help develop the next generation of great researchers and thinkers. His continued research interests are in physics pedagogy, the asymmetry energy of the nuclear equation of state and enabling undergraduate research opportunities for students who would not normally have access to world-class undergraduate research experiences.
