The Texas A&M Physics and Astronomy Quantum Leapers are hitting the pavement for the Walk Across Texas challenge, an eight-week program encouraging regular physical activity. Organized by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and Living Well, the event runs from January 25 to March 31, 2025, with teams aiming to collectively cover 832 miles—the equivalent of trekking across Texas!

Our Quantum Leapers have already started logging their steps, pushing toward the finish line on March 21. With a mix of determination, teamwork, and a touch of quantum energy, they’re proving that physics isn’t just about equations—it’s about motion, too!

Let’s enjoy some photos they took (below) and cheer them on as they stride toward success! 🚶‍♂️✨
