Department of Statistics – Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors are current students in the Department of Statistics. All ambassadors demonstrate excellent academic records, and are involved in the Department as well as other organizations at Texas A&M University. Ambassadors assist the department in multiple capacities – including the advancement of recruitment and outreach through Aggieland Saturday, New Student Conferences, prospective student meetings, student panels, and much more. Ambassadors serve as representatives of the department to prospective students and families, current students, former students, and other visitors.

In order to apply for the Department of Statistics Student Ambassador Program, you must have completed a minimum of one semester as a STAT major.

  • Assist with Department activities on Day 2 of New Student Conferences.
  • Assist in establishing programs that engage current and former students.
  • Assist with gathering student feedback about the department and student experience.
