Biography

I manage the Advising Center that supports the Departments of Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics. I support each departments’ advisors to ensure our advising practices meet our students’ needs and departments’ goals.

I also serve as an academic advisor for students majoring in Statistics, Bioinformatics, and Physics. I meet with undergraduate students to help them develop career and educational goals, plan their academic programs, monitor their progress toward timely graduation, and provide resources for additional student opportunities.

I am a first-generation college graduate originally from Corpus Christi, TX. I completed my B.A. in English from Texas A&M University in May 2016. I later completed my M.S. in Educational Human Resource Development with an emphasis in Adult Education from Texas A&M University in December 2023. I have worked full-time in academic advising in higher education since the summer of 2016.
