Miranda Lambert

Every year, the Ray C. Battalio Award is granted to an outstanding doctoral student in behavioral economics. We are very pleased to announce that the 2024-25 Ray C. Battalo Fellow is Miranda Lambert.

Miranda is a 5th year doctoral student in behavioral economics. Her current research uses a gender and development lens to look at the individual and community implications war as well as the gender differences in promotion/evaluations. Her solo-authored work examines the impacts of childhood trauma on adulthood household violence and gender differences in the job market for field enumerators in the global south. Her current lab experiments explore how differential environments (competitive vs cooperative and virtual vs in-person) impact gender differences and discrimination in worker evaluations.

Congratulations, Miranda!
