Biography
Bruce Ferrell is a PhD student with the Department of History at Texas A&M University. Bruce retired from the U.S. Army after 28 years as an armor officer working at the tactical, operational and strategic levels. After retiring from the Army, Bruce taught advanced operations at the Army’s Command and General Staff College as a Department of the Army civilian. Bruce has a Bachelor of Science with a major in military history from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas in Austin, and a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College at Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania. Bruce’s research focus is the evolution of intellectual thought on strategy-making, both in the U.S. military and U.S. business academia in the 20th century.
