Daniel Gipper

Research Interests

Daniel Gipper is a PhD Candidate in Military History with the Department of History at Texas A&M University. Daniel is an Air Force officer attending graduate school through the Air University Faculty Development Program to prepare for a teaching assignment at the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies—the Air Force’s Advanced Studies Group. His study interests include strategy and air power in the twentieth-century, and his research focuses on the drawdown of the Air Force during and after the Vietnam war.
