Biography
Gregory Sellers is a PhD student in the Graduate History Program at Texas A&M University. He spent most of his early years in San Jose, California, before joining the United States Army as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Operations Specialist. He retired from the Army after serving just shy of 22 years and began his academic career. He earned his Bachelor and Master of Arts in History at Texas A&M University-Central Texas where he studied under Dr. Timothy Hemmis. His Master’s Thesis focused on the transnational policies between Native Americans and the colonial powers and state governments that ruled Texas from 1680-1846. At Texas A&M his research focus will shift to Native Americans in the colonial south in the early eighteenth century with a War and Society focus.
