From August 13 to 15, 2025, the Low Energy Community Meeting (LECM) convened at Texas A&M University, hosted within the Mitchell Physics Complex and the Mitchell Institute for Fundamental Physics & Astronomy in College Station, TX. As a cornerstone event for U.S. low-energy nuclear physics, it brought together researchers tackling areas like nuclear structure, reactions, astrophysics, and fundamental symmetries.

Organized largely by the university’s Cyclotron Institute, the meeting featured plenary talks, working-group sessions, and workshops. It served as the national forum for researchers, research facilities, and funding agencies (including DOE and NSF) to assess the current state of the field and shape its future direction.
