Research Interests
My research interests center around weight bias in healthcare, including the role of the medical environment and body image concerns in the development of weight stigmatizing attitudes among healthcare professionals; how weight-focused encounters influence patient health and healthcare engagement via individual and interpersonal factors; and barriers and benefits of weight-inclusive healthcare from patient and provider perspectives.
