Fastrack
Fastrack is the Department of Economics' 5-year combined degree program that provides undergraduate students the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Arts or Science in Economics and a Master of Science (MS) in Economics.
The Master’s degree program was created in response to the increasingly high demand from students seeking a professional master’s degree in Economics and employers looking for candidates with advanced training.
The MS Economics provides rigorous training in economics and econometrics. After completing this program, students are prepared for an immediate career in business or government; and also be for further study in top economics and finance Ph.D. programs.
Job Placement
Fastrack students have a job placement rate of 100% with many secured employment before graduation. There is an exponential increase in demand for employees who demonstrate the capacity to complete a strenuous degree plan in five years. Our Job and Internship Placement page has the most current information on where our students are securing employment.
