The Honors Program is only for prospective and current undergraduate students.
Honors provides opportunities for more advanced and challenging work to academically distinguished and motivated students. Most Physics and Astronomy courses have honors sections with enriched learning experiences. Honors students are expected to conduct independent research under the supervision of our faculty. All honors courses will be denoted as honors on students’ official transcripts. Furthermore, students completing the honors program will have the departmental honors distinction, as well as any earned university or college distinction, noted on the official transcript.
