Geology and geophysics are fields of study for those who enjoy solving scientific mysteries, exploring the outdoors, learning more about the world around them and having a variety of meaningful career options. Our program takes an integrative approach to our Earth systems and includes topics such as natural energy resources and sustainability, climate change, tectonics, earthquakes and volcanoes, environmental science, and geochemistry. Global science issues fall into the purview of today's geoscientists, geologists and geophysicists, who are leaders in developing solutions to the issues we face today and preparing for our needs tomorrow.
