Biography

Chang Lu is a Ph.D. student in Sociology at Texas A&M University. She received her B.A. in English Language and Literature and an M.A. in American Studies from China Foreign Affairs University, and has also studied as a visiting student at UC Berkeley. Her research interests include race and ethnicity, immigrant assimilation, and intergroup relations in the United States. Her current research focuses on the social outcomes of intermarriage, with a particular emphasis on Asian American immigrant populations.
