Application Requirements
We expect strong scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or similar exam, in addition to strong GRE scores, and a statement showing evidence of research and knowledge of our faculty research expertise. We offer a limited number of teaching assistantships to international doctoral applicants; however, at this time we are not able to offer graduate assistant teaching awards to international M.S. students. Nevertheless, some international M.S. students have self-funded their study, or have been funded through a research assistantship. International M.S. students are encouraged to discuss funding options with potential advisors before applying to our program.
