The Departments of Anthropology and History, along with the Bush School of Government and Public Service, invite you to attend the conference, “Honoring Service, Finding Answers: Conflict Archaeology & Military History,” on Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 4 p.m. to Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 4:45 p.m. at the Memorial Student Center (Tuesday) and Glasscock Building (Wednesday). 

The event is open to the public and no registration is required. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from the principal deputy director with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency, view a student exhibition on MIA Aggies and hear presentations from faculty and students from geology, history, anthropology, English, the College of Architecture and the Bush School on supporting the United States' mission to account for all missing service personnel from World War II to present conflicts. 

The idea for the symposium builds off an event that took place two years ago, “Never Forgotten: Conflict Archaeology & Military History."
