Students who wish to declare a double degree must satisfy the following requirements:
- An overall GPA of 3.0 in major courses for the existing major and the proposed major
- Credit for MATH 151/171 and MATH 152/172 with a C or better when taken at TAMU and a B or better when taken at another school.
- Credit for PHYS 206 with either ENGR/PHYS 216 or PHYS 226 and PHYS 207 with either ENGR/PHYS 217 or PHYS 227 with a C or better when taken at TAMU and a B or better when taken at another school.
- Solid reasoning
- Completed degree planner showing both degrees
- Fewer than 90 credit hours (possible flexibility for students with AP or dual credit)
