Biography

Nereyda is a doctoral student in the Sociology Department at Texas A&M University. She is focusing her doctoral studies on demography, specifically in migration and women’s issues. Prior to joining Texas A&M University, she was a Design and Development Specialist at World Vision Guatemala in 2019. She also worked as a Technical Analyst at the Central American Sugar Association from 2015 to 2018. She received her master’s degree in International Affairs from Texas A&M University in 2021, and her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Universidad Francisco Marroquín in 2016.
