Tina M. Budzise-Weaver

Tina Budzise-Weaver is a part-time PhD student in the Department of Sociology. She has spent 17 years at Texas A&M University in various roles at the University Libraries. Formerly, she was a Subject Liaison in the Libraries, but has recently joined the School of Performance, Visualization, and Fine Arts. She completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art – Painting from the University of Houston and graduated with her Master of Science in Library Science from the University of North Texas. Her research interests take several avenues, one interest lies in information literacy and social media as performance, and another interest is exploring how art, design, and performance intersect with society.
