Biography
Yueh-Cheng Tien is a Ph.D. student in Sociology at Texas A&M University, where he is also pursuing a Certificate in Entrepreneurship. He received his M.A. in Sociology from National Taiwan University. He holds a dual B.A. in History and Sociology from National Chengchi University.
His research interests lie at the intersection of organizational sociology, with a particular focus on entrepreneurship, innovation, and high-technology industries. His current projects explore how institutional logics shape technological innovation in Taiwan’s semiconductor sector.
