Congratulations to Dr. Jess Garcia! Dr. Garcia is graduating and has accepted a Visiting Assistant Professor appointment at the University of Texas at Dallas in the Criminology and Criminal Justice program. The program offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees. UT Dallas also has the Pre-Law Advising and Resource Center that helps students to prepare for applications to law schools and many of the graduates from the Criminology and Criminal Justice program choose this route.

The UT Dallas Criminology and Criminal Justice program is part of the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences - an interdisciplinary policy school that combines eight interrelated disciplines - criminology and criminal justice, cyber and big data analytics, economics, geospatial information sciences, political science, public and nonprofit management, public policy and political economy, and sociology. The school strongly encourages and is known for its interdisciplinary work crossing the boundaries of different disciplines. Similarly, students are encouraged to take courses across different majors.

Congratulations, Dr. Garcia! This is an exciting job!
