Douglas Ramirez '96

I graduated in August 1996 with a BA in Speech Communication with a minor in Management. I am an honorably discharged US Army Veteran (1989-1993) and honorably retired Houston Police Department Sergeant (1997-2021). I am currently a Terminal Management Supervisor at Bush Airport in Houston, Texas. I am involved with various organizations and activities associated with Texas A&M University and believe in "giving back". I am also active with my Church and still meet with police officers to talk when they are having a "rough day", when I was with HPD I was the Peer Support Liaison for my last patrol station.

I am married and have no children. My sister is also an Aggie and has two BS degrees, in Animal Science and Economics. When I have spare time, I enjoy reading.
