Biography
Faith Ebiere Eguolo Odele is a second-year PhD student at Texas A&M University’s Department of Communication and Journalism. Originally from Nigeria, she holds a bachelor’s in English from the University of Ibadan and a master’s in media and communication from Pan-Atlantic University. Her research focuses on deconstructing and decolonizing gender rhetoric and narratives, exploring intersections of colonial, racial, and gender politics in production and representation, and challenging systems of inequality. She envisions a career in academia, focusing on research, teaching, and public scholarship that drive social change. She is a creative writer and is fascinated by different cultures and traditions.
