Biography
After nearly 22 years in government communications and marketing, Jay has returned to his first career love of broadcasting.
Jay oversees operations of Texas A&M’s National Public Radio affiliate, KAMU-FM. He also is working to build and grow the Texas A&M Podcast Network and to establish a sustainable pipeline for students who want hands-on experience in audio storytelling.
Prior to his arrival at KAMU, Jay led communications and marketing teams with the City of College Station, the City of Bryan, and the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service.
Before his career in government, Jay spent more than a decade as news director, reporter, anchor, and morning co-host for a variety of radio stations in Aggieland.
