Natasha Abeya, Class of ’03
Global Brand and Marketing Communications Manager
Natasha is the Global Brand and Marketing Communications Manager for Shell Chemicals in Houston. Shell is a global group of energy and petrochemical companies with the aim to meet the world’s demand for energy in responsible ways and help build a sustainable energy future. As Shell pursues its ambitions towards net zero emissions, Natasha’s role is to develop a distinctive Shell Chemicals brand in the marketplace and drive long-term revenue growth.
Prior to her current role, Natasha’s various roles is responsibility for the strategy of key business partnerships and sponsorship programs with Team Penske (NASCAR, IndyCar) and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. She was also accountable for the management of a set of global marquee partnerships, such as National Geographic, NBCUniversal, New York Times and Bloomberg Media, that delivered brand strategies and brought the Shell brand to life through partnerships and activations. Natasha was also responsible for the development and delivery of both regional and global marketing strategies that helped achieve the growth objectives for Shell’s research and technology development commercial business.
While at Texas A&M, Natasha held the position of President of Lambda Pi Eta and was involved in SCA, Big Event and The Association of Former Students.
In her spare time, Natasha enjoys watching and attending sporting events and spending time with her friends and family.
