Nic Bradley

Nicholas Bradley is a Visiting Lecturer at Texas A&M University. He received his doctorate from A&M for studies in the Department of Communication with a focus on Rhetoric and Public Affairs. A&M has also awarded him certificates in both Africana Studies and Women and Gender Studies. His dissertation, The Poetics of White Violence, sought to understand the rhetorical strategies used by White supremacist movements to form new coalitions and to bring in new recruits for the purpose of committing acts of anti-State violence.  Before Texas A&M, Nic earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Memphis, where he completed a double major in Communication and Philosophy with a minor in Spanish. During his time as a graduate student, Nic was awarded the Distinguished Graduate Student Award for Excellence in Teaching by the Association of Former Students, as well as the Fasken Graduate Student Teaching Award. Nic has taught Public Speaking, Argumentation and Debate, Rhetorical Criticism, and the MSC Conway-Fitzhugh International Honors Leadership Seminar in Italy.
