Biography
Sarah Ottinger is a Ph.D. student at Texas A&M who studies areas of identity, media, representation, and culture. She received her B.S. in Communication from Abilene Christian University and was named as a University Scholar in her graduating class. Her recent work has examined how international transracial adoptees construct and negotiate their ethnic/racial identities within media representations and in their families. Sarah is currently a Texas A&M Avilés-Johnson fellow.
