The Help-Desk in 111 Bolton Hall offers support and equipment for undergraduate and graduate students in Communication and Journalism. Whether you need to use a laptop, voice recorder, camcorder or simply want to print papers and scan images, the Help-Desk can help you.
The office and staff of the Help-Desk is a part of College of Arts & Sciences Information Technology (CAS IT), which is available to assist the faculty, staff and students of the College of Arts & Sciences with their computing needs. CAS IT staff are housed throughout the college at locations convenient to the various departments, programs and institutes served.
A common email address will send a request for assistance to the support center: artsci-help@tamu.edu. An IT professional will receive an assignment of the request for assistance. When submitting a request through e-mail:
- In the subject line: provide a brief abstract describing the issue.
- In the body of the e-mail: give as many details as possible about the issue you are experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate services.
