Study Abroad With Economics
Texas A&M University provides many study abroad programs for all of their students, but the Department of Economics provides for a specific trip that is specifically catered to Economics majors, or rather anyone interested in Economics.
The location we have a relationship with is Erasmus University (Rotterdam, The Netherlands).
This program is quite affordable, with prices more or less equivalent to spending a semester at College Station. In Erasmus, the courses will be taught in English. If you are interested, feel free to look through our pages about why visiting any of these places is so beneficial.

- This site contains various links and resources designed to answer common questions to guide you through the process
- Complete the Pre-Approval for Transfer Credit Form
- With your questions answered, proceed to completing your pre-approval form
- For non-Economics courses, contact the relevant department for approval of the courses you wish to take abroad to ensure the credits will transfer back to Texas A&M properly.
- Every course must be approved by the appropriate Subject Matter Expert (SME) [Example: NR 150 Oceanography would go to the Oceanography SME]
- You must give the SME at least 5 business days to respond to your request before contacting the Study Abroad Advisors for help
