Not sure where to start? Or maybe you know exactly where you’re going, but need a hand with the details? Wherever you are in the process, the College of Arts & Sciences Study Abroad team is ready to help you make it happen!
Come chat with us! You can schedule an in-person or virtual appointment via Navigate or swing by during our drop-in advising hours. To help guide the conversation, please review these Top Study Abroad Questions to Ask Yourself before coming in for advising.
ADVISING BY APPOINTMENT
Schedule an appointment with us through Navigate. We are listed as “AT – Planning for Study Abroad.”
In the comment section, please include any questions or information you’d like to discuss.
If the available appointment times don’t work for your schedule, please email us at artsci-studyabroad@tamu.edu to coordinate an alternative meeting time.
Appointments can be virtual via Microsoft Teams or in-person. We are located in ACAD 228, on the second floor of the Academic Building. At the top of the stairs, take a right through the glass doors and look for our banner at the end of the hall. Room numbers are found above the doors.
If there is no availability with our office, you may schedule an appointment with an Education Abroad advisor.
DROP-IN ADVISING
No appointment? No problem! Drop-in advising takes place in ACAD 228 and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be advised by one of our Global Ambassadors.
We cannot assist students outside the designated drop-in hours unless you have scheduled an appointment.
Summer 2026
Hours Subject to Change
- No drop-in advising during the summer. Check back later for our Fall drop-in advising hours.
Please note that our office primarily serves students majoring in the College of Arts & Sciences, or students interested in ArtSci-specific programs. Certain colleges, such as Architecture or Mays Business School, have their own study abroad offices better equipped to assist their students and programs. If you are not in the College of Arts & Sciences, please refer to this list of Study Abroad college liaisons. Note that all TAMU students are welcome to meet with the central Education Abroad office.
